Packaging with Purpose
Sustainable Paper and Production — at PEACE IN THE WILD, every detail of our presentation reflects our deep connection to nature, our use of superior quality ingredients, and our dedication to sophisticated design — values that are also embodied in our packaging.
Our fragrances are housed in handcrafted boxes, made locally in Munich from natural Gmund paper in our signature green shade. Sourced from Bavaria, this paper was chosen for its exceptional quality, aesthetic elegance, and Gmund’s longstanding commitment to sustainability. With nearly 200 years of expertise, Gmund Paper sets the standard in fine paper craftsmanship. The paper we use is Cradle to Cradle Certified® Silver, meeting the highest criteria for ecological responsibility.
In keeping with our close collaboration with every partner, we visited the Gmund production site at Tegernsee to meet the people behind the process and understand how this remarkable paper is made — from renewable raw materials to refined final textures. Their philosophy — combining innovation with tradition and environmental consciousness — echoes our own values of thoughtful, sustainable production.

Each box is then embossed by hand in Munich on a 100-year-old Heidelberg letterpress machine, a technique that lends timeless character and a sensory richness to our packaging. Every detail is manually inspected before the paper is cut and folded by hand, resulting in a precise, elegant box that reflects the sophisticated yet understated design of our aroma care products.

By working with local partners and selecting only the highest quality materials, we honor the essence of local production, sustainable craftsmanship, and the quiet luxury of nature. Because every detail — like every scent — is designed to feel intentional, refined, and deeply connected.
